He was one of the founders of the Wizards Council.

The Church of Innos ended up finding out he was a member of the Wizards Council and ended up hunting him down. When cornered he defended himself and before being captured used a cursed ring to end his life which he carried around in case he was ever in a situation where the council is in danger because of him.
