Kazad Bryn

Kazad Bryn was a mountain home of the kingdom Karak Durak.
It was a major gold producer as its mines hit rather large gold veins underground.
Relentless attacks by orcs whittled down its defenders, not wanting to surrender their homes they chose to fight to the last dwarf in defense of their mountain home in 1398 BCC.

These days it is nothing but ruins, even the orcs left hundreds of years ago for an as of yet undiscovered reason. The inside was ruined by the orcs after they conquered it, statues of famed dwarves and venerated ancestors were disfigured or completely destroyed, some had their heads changed to look like a crude carving of that of an orc.
Its halls are now covered in dust, webs and rubble from when the orcs lived there. There are also some creatures from the cave layers that made this ancient hold their home.
Its entrance has collapsed but there are still some dwarven escape tunnels in the caves that would allow one access, if they knew what to look for.
