Hikairi Lancrae (a.k.a. Ari)

Hikairi's birthplace is unknown and her birth family equally a mystery. As a child she was found at the doorstep of the Blacksmith in Starpas late one rainy night, and was taken in from the cold, practically given a home by the village itself, rather than any one family unit. She grew up learning many trades, many skills, and many stories of the Gods.

What set her apart and kept her a bit at odds with the community, was her attachment through the years to keeping the company of the Wizard Archimedes that lived nearby in Hunwulfham, who taught her magic. Even still she would learn to keep her loyalties firm to the protection of the village, as it allowed peace to be maintained between herself and her home.

Aged enough to be entrusted to forge her own destiny, skilled with a unique hammer based fighting style mixed with an equally skillfulness with a unique style of magic, she allowed herself to follow her instincts where they led her and left Starpas to reside in Hunwulfham. Here she would join the Adventurers Guild.
Her life led her through many different parts of the world, meeting demons, powerful wizards and nobles alike. She went adventuring with many different people, losing some along the way.
Throughout her adventures she ended up joining the Kecklerstead Thieves Guild and has become an "accomplished" member. To this day she returns from her other duties there to act as a support for them, not making much of an effort to hide it from those close to her.
One day she met the Wizards Council , sort of forcing her way into the organisation she eventually became an unofficial member that was respected by many of the wizards in it. She performed various mission for them and during one of these missions had to have her face permanently altered, also taking on the name "Ari Lancer".
Eventually she and the council formed a School of Magic in the autumn of the year 1003. She was made the headmaster of this school and has been leading it since.
