Book on Resurrection Magic

This is a book written a few centuries ago by the Council of Paladins.

The first few pages talk about the holy nature of resurrection magic and how it only works within 5 days of a beings death.

"The holy magic that has been gifted to us can be used to bring back birds, dogs, wolves and humanoids alike. One must keep in mind one has a window of 5 days in which the holiest of magics works, 1 minute over into the 6th day and it has no effect."

It touches on various scenarios of resurrection and also on how it should be done sparingly and only when necessary.

"Innos has blessed us with his gift to breathe life back into the recently deceased and call back their souls from the afterlife.
This gift must not be abused. It must be used sparingly and with purpose."

It also talks about how multiple resurrections of the same body and soul can be harmful.

"Resurrecting one being multiple times will wear away their soul bit by bit as it is dragged back and forth through the cosmic barriers between the realms."

In the final pages it talks about the state a body must be in to be able to be resurrected.

"A beings body must not be burned beyond recognition, crushed or otherwise mangled. It must retain its original shape and be recognisable by both man and Innos to be able to receive the holy gift of resurrection."
