Angelo Summers
Ranger Angelo James Summers (a.k.a. Angie, Muffinhead)
Angelo was once an openly kind and compassionate kid, but he got made fun of to the point where he's afraid to say anything to anyone besides his brother. He also felt the need to be useful to society, and didn't feel like he measured up to his peers in that regard. One day he got so fed up with himself that he decided he'd join the military, specifically the Interstellar Forces, as it would be the easiest to get into, and make it hard for his family to find him and bring him back home. He didn't act on it right away. Years later, his brother made a surprise decision to join the IF, and after his departure, Angelo's mood dropped much worse than normal. His parents tried their best to help him, but nothing worked. He pitied them. Pushing himself completely out of his comfort zone was the only way he could see himself getting better, and that is when he finally decided to forge his way into the IF.
Even if his brother was there, it's not like they would run into each other, right?

Very thin, short, and frail. His hair forms a smooth bowl-cut, with a tuft of hair between the part. His eyes are big, which make them good for seeing with. He also has abnormally long eyelashes. Sometimes mistaken for the wrong gender, which was a source of teasing and insecurity.

Brother: Leon SummersLeon SummersLeon Summers - "I can't apologize enough..." Leon is one of the few people who didn't give Angelo grief growing up and over time, he became his sole confidant. Sure, his brother can be a little absentminded and forgetful, but other than that, Angelo sees no flaws in him. When talking to Leon alone, Angelo's entire demeanor can change from anxious to carefree. He'd be willing to do almost anything for his brother's sake and would never dream of hurting him...except he did. Almost exclusively refers to Leon as 'Big Brother'

Mia - "Wow, she's really independent. I wanna be more like her..." Mia and Angelo don't really interact that much, but when they do, Angelo finds her to be helpful. He notices how serious she is about her work, and hopes to one day be as competent. Roxie - "I wish I could say how much I like her, but she'd probably think I had a crush or something and it would freak her out and....oh gosh, I-I should just forget it." Angelo admires Roxie's friendliness. Her happiness is almost contagious, and she's fun to be around. Angelo really wants to be Roxie's friend and open up to her, but he can't bring himself to do it, especially if he ends up getting found out. He'd hate to betray her... Jun - "I wish I had known them sooner..." Jun seems to be a really stable person, and doesn't appear to mind listening to the others' problems and helping them out a little. They seem really down-to-earth, too. Angelo wishes he could be more like Jun one day. He feels if he had met them sooner, he wouldn't have made some of the risky decisions he has. Aiden - "He hasn't tried to punch my face in! W-what a nice guy...!" Aiden's size and general demeanor scares Angelo, but he notices that Aiden hasn't actually been mean to or even gotten that angry at him. He has a soft spot for Aiden because of this. Emil - Ah! What a cool guy...I hope I'm not too awkward around him. Leon thinks Emil is cool, so of course Angelo will! Angelo admires that Emil tries to make everyone on the ship feel included. He's honored Emil's kindness extends to him, too. Lorenzo - "Scary...." Lorenzo scares Angelo. He feels like the captain doesn't trust him, or maybe he's onto his secret...!Social Aptitude
He likes being around people, but can't talk to them. Overthinking is his biggest obstacle. He worries that he may say something that comes off too strong or accidentally rude. In the past he was said to be really good at giving compliments; he admires people's strengths and is quick to notice them. He has a lot of love in his heart. However, he's not really sure how to express that without giving people the wrong idea or scaring them away, so he mostly relies on doing little things to show he cares, sometimes at inconvenience to himself. Because of how soft-spoken he is, he often has to repeat himself to be heard, which diminishes his confidence every time he does so.
When he's more comfortable around someone, his sense of humor becomes more apparent. It's absurdist and sometimes self-depreciative, but he tries to keep the latter toned down. He'd probably be really into internet memes.

Apologizes a ton. His voice is normally high-pitched and quivery, but its a little deeper when talking to someone he's comfortable around. He has a slight stutter.
