Ranger Leonardo Sebastian Summers (a.k.a. Rookie, Big Brother)
When he was a kid, all Leon ever wanted to do was be a Star Ranger. He got discouraged from joining the Interstellar Forces because of its reputation, but toward the end of high school, he decided he couldn't stay away. Leon adores space and anything to do with it, so to him, he’s pretty much living the dream after joining the IF. He has a chipper, can-do attitude and is usually seen talking to someone. Some enjoy his conversation; others worry that he might not shut up. Though inexperienced compared to the rest of the team, he’ll do what he can to ensure that he can keep his dream a reality, which surprisingly turns out to be harder than it seems.

Brother: Angelo Summers - "I wanna believe in Angie, but I... really don't know what to say..." Growing up, Leon could always count on Angelo for anything. It actually kind of worried him at some points, how far his little brother would go to please others, Leon especially. There's a lot of good in the kid. Leon always saw him as funny, thoughtful, and above all else, kind....Getting Angelo to see it was the problem. Meeting him on the Celestion-5 was an unpleasant surprise, but Leon knows he didn't mean to possibly jeopardize his dream job. Besides, Leon would give up the IF in a heartbeat if it meant his brother could return home safe, he just doesn't want Angelo to end up in jail. Angelo is trying to be more independent, if nothing else. Leon's proud of that.
Other Relationships
Mia - "Wow! I can't believe I'm partnered with a Lunarian!! Gosh, she's so cool and mysterious! I hope we can be friends!" Since they've been assigned as partners, Leon has been making his best effort to befriend the quiet, collected Mia. Her intellect amazes him and he admires how focused she is; she's the perfect person to guide him in his new job. Also, she's from the moon!! He thinks that's so cool and wants to know everything about life there, so Leon makes an effort to talk to Mia every chance he gets. Roxie - "I like Roxie! She really gets me. I kind of think of her as a big sister; we're like two peas in a pod! She could stand to pinch my cheeks a little less hard though...I like having feeling in them..." Leon and Roxie share a lot of the same interests and are similar to in personality. Sometimes they tease each other, but nothing they say could be remotely taken for malicious. He really likes her stories! Despite how much she gushes about how adorable he is, she does this to almost everyone and Leon can tell that she respects him as an adult, and he does the same for her. Jun - "The Jun Kim? I met THE Jun Kim?? What an honor.... They're like history in the making and yet they're so cool about it! And they even offered to show me around on the first day, I can't believe this is happening to me!" Leon finds himself resisting the urge to ask Jun for an autograph. How is this person, who made the IF an even better place to be, even willing to talk to a lowly rookie like him? They're too famous to be here! Other than being starstruck, Leon finds Jun to be an approachable person to confide in. He looks up to them! Aiden - "Ah geez, Aiden, do you really have to sleep in the nude??" They butt heads sometimes, but Leon can't really say he hates him. He's just....very interesting. (but really does he have to sleep naked??) Leon being Leon, still wants to be friends anyway. Aiden's strong, confident, and really talented at using the Jet Gear. Leon admires that. He also finds their back and forths kind of funny. Not the worst roommate he could've had! Emil - "Wooooooooah. He's. So cool! I mean, what a guy! He's so funny and talented and really good at lifting people up. I wanna be more like him!" Leon is in awe of Emil. He's so fun and cool and friendly and cool! He can play the guitar?? Leon's always wanted to play the guitar! The way Emil's presence livens up the ship is something Leon finds incredible. Emil even managed to be friends with Aiden of all people! (though that's probably because Emil strokes his ego.) Leon can't believe that someone like Emil is his friend and not a celebrity.... Lorenzo - "I can tell the captain really cares about his work. He's so...what's the word? Diligent! He seems so diligent and serious; wish I knew more about him. I'm proud to call him my captain!" For only being a year older his senior, Leon is amazed that Lorenzo has his life together enough to lead a ship! It's inspiring. He wishes he had more time to talk to the captain about space and the IF, but figures that the captain has responsibilities far beyond befriending a rookie.Social Aptitude
Very sociable, and has no problem getting along with others for the most part. Had a great reputation in high school. Some people might say he talks too much, or at inopportune times. He's also not the most perceptive of people, so sometimes social cues that may seem obvious to others aren't to him.
