Worldwaker
The DGS Worldwaker is a Dryad Grove Ship. These huge, living starships are experts at terraforming. They are not common, in part because Dryad ships are incredibly difficult to build, and have some of the least efficient uses of space of any ships in the known galaxy. They are also among the most weakly defended for their size and often hire fey ships to excort them through the astral.
The hull of the ship is made of extremely strong ironwood, polished and vibrant even in the depths of space. There are no visible engines. Instead, branches extend outward from its sides, branching out, and out, and out, bearing broad, delicate-looking leaves that glitter in the sunlight.
The ship has an artificial sun as a power core and uses electronics grown from trees. Even the glass appears to have been grown.
The DGS Worldwaker was designed for a crew of between 40 and 200 and currently carries around 116 dryads. Most of these are female.
The ship is currently terraforming the third planet in the Janton system. In exchange, Janton has agreed to give the dryads
land on the planet to colonize.
