Janton

Janton is an arid, relatively poor, planet and system in the Tassen cluster. Much of the planet's surface is desert due to the small size of the oceans. Most of the major cities are located near the coastlines where they have a more tropical climate. Communities elsewhere on the planet rely both on the magi of Janton University to generate rainstorms and a variety of water conservation technology. Janton is ahead of most other worlds in the latter technology.
Janton is home to a University with an unusually large magical college specialising in weather magic. The space station Nevrim orbits the planet.
The Janton Capitol building is a fifty-story structure with ivory walls, spiraling towers, and extensive lighting. The Senate offices building is a beige colored, four-story structure with magical levitation tubes, expansive one-way windows.
The Dryad ship DGS Worldwalker is in orbit around the system's third planet, which it is terraforming. The planet's current republic replaced its old monarchy which made the original deal with the dryads.
