Willow
Willow is a Dryad from the Worldwaker who joined the Djinn's Gift as ship's engineer.
She is a highly experienced engineer and bioengineer who has seen the engineering rooms of everything from a goblin tramp freighter to a draconic warworld. She has had a subscription to Dagrun’s VR Engineering Challenges from the time she was twenty and has managed to crack every one of them.
Willow's tree is apple and she brought three miniature apple trees on to the Djinn's gift - a main tree and two emergency trees. The main tree has an independent environmental bubble designed to block out everything from poisons to radiation.
Like apple trees, Willow is both male and female. Dryads prefer the term bisexual to hermaphrodite, not least because it's easier to say.
