Taranis hired mercenaries to help him seize leadership of the House after the assassination of Lilac at the Advent Festival.
After Lilac was resurrected, confession was forced from Taranis via truth spells. His soul was then extracted and bound to a crystal in the family's customer support center, as the new animating intelligence for their customer help line. He has also been magically bound to not try to harm the family, and sentenced to seven hundred and seventy-seven years in the position… with the sentence reduced by one day for each five-star review he earns from the customers he helps.
