Shield of Creation
The Shield of Creation was built by Caramont Yards. It was originally ordered by the Iron Wolves, but when they were unable to complete the purchase, it was bought by Evelyn.
The ship is wedge-shaped, the better to travel through astral, and broad but relatively thin, allowing it to bring more of its guns to bear on an enemy. Dark blue, gunmetal black, and gray, it has a sinister, deadly appearance.
Facilities include a full dance hall and music studio.
The ship is captained by Zelirana with Phenar, Sylin, and Vaneryth as crew.
Weapons & Armament
There are more than twenty turrets, most of them with three barrels.
Running most of the length of the ship is a mark 23 Multi-Purpose Cannon. This massive, spiral cannon has a six-metre bore, a six-capacitor array for power, as well as secondary module slots to add up to three enchantment modules to the cannon. There are one-way shield generators every fifty meters down the barrel, blocking outside attacks and powered by the capacitors. The firing port has thicker armor than anywhere else on the ship, and in emergencies there are three blast doors that will close, disabling the cannon until they're manually opened. The gun can be tuned for several magical purposes with modules, further concentrated for penetrating power, weakened to give a much longer firing time to function as a mining laser… or titanic welder in a pinch, or even use a magical lens to make the beam wider to take out maybe a few dozen incoming anti-ship missiles, drones, or fighter craft.
Armor and defense
The ship has a Caramont armor matrix with nanite self-repair, triple layer shields, and four lightning-sphere reactors.
