Formation of the Terran Astronomical Navy

Founding

Amid fears of potential hostile, space-faring alien life in the Galaxy following the Killian Breach, the New Terran Republic forms the Terran Astronomical Navy as a federally run space branch, dedicated to protecting the citizens of the Republic. Several civilian vessels are bought to form the basis for the new Navy, with four purpose-built warships beginning construction soon after.
