Diego Castorra

Diego Manuel César Castorra

Diego Castorra is one of two engineers aboard the UNSS Asteria, focusing more on the mechanical systems that make the vessel run. His domain includes the reactors, drive systems, fuel containment, and superstructure. Diego himself is the only human on the ship from Earth itself, and likes to hang that fact over everyone’s heads. Melodramatic, sassy, and jovial, Diego serves as the perfect foil to his counterpart Liu Yang, and he is a major factor in keeping the crew’s morale high. He is also somewhat of a big brother figure to Jae Chong, and is currently dating the ship’s botanist, Su Patel.
