The Feywild
Do not eat any food they offer you. You will be trapped there forever.
If you follow the gentle lights, they will lead you to ruin.
Do not speak your True Name. There are always listening ears nearby.
Nothing that you see is what you see. Silver will open your eyes, but at a cost.
Do not wrong the ravens. Here, rebel birds disobey the rules of their Queen.
Belief makes things true. Clerics and paladins have a harder time than most, but most make it out alive.
The forest goes on forever. You may see shoreline, and still the trees unfold infinitely in every direction.
Familiarity is not safety.
Pledge and Deal are the language of the forest.
A hot soup with of pumpkin and lavender will soothe the aching in your chest, and your teeth will finally stop growing. Breathe. Sleep deeply if you
can. This stage is over, but another will begin soon.

Geography
The Feywild is a huge deciduous forest with ancient trees that have grown above the heads of clouds, shrouding the land in a perpetual dusk. The deeper you journey into the deep woods, the taller the trees become until soon they block out the sky, growing upwards and beneath the ground for miles. The deep roots of these trees form the Underdark root forest called the Pith Expanse.
Areas to the apparent east transition into a swampy terrain, bogged by a black, noxious, and viscous liquid that clings to the skin and burns to the touch. Deep furloughs of mud suck travelers beneath the roots and pull them under as nutrients for the flora. The murky water is a shallow ocean beneath, teeming with nutrients to make the trees grow as tall as they are.
Fauna & Flora
The Feywild is home to the faerie denizens of the Seelie and Unseelie Courts, but it is also inhabited by massive megafauna, powerful beasts transformed by ambient magic. One such apex predator is the Worgs, large lupine fey who have humanoid hands and faces. They never stop growing during their lifespan, reaching towering heights that rival the trees and shake the earth.
Spores from infected trees hatch into Shimmerlings and spread them throughout the forest. Mimic trees appear as birches, but their many eyes spy on travelers for the Morrigan(s). Will-o-Wisps leave trails of lights through certain patches, attracting and revealing passersby, often before leading them to their doom.
Natural Resources
Few mortals dare enter the forest, let alone exploit it for its resources. Every tree, every blade of grass has been carefully bargained for and belongs to someone. To eat the fruit, you must ask its tree for permission. To hunt prey, you must bargain for its lifeblood. Sleep is only given by requesting it from the Nightmare, and the warmth of fire is the exclusive gift of Efreeti. Nothing here is freely given.
Nonetheless, the trees are a potential source of timber. One folktale tells of a clever lumberjack (known only as Jack) who entered the Feywild and tricked a tree into giving him more and more of itself each time he asked, until he had reduced it to a stump and provided all of Everton with timber aplenty to build its palisade.
