Dwarves

One of the oldest races in Xorik, dwarves prefer spending their days deep in their mountains crafting wonders or defending their homes from denizens of the Underdark. Although there are a number of dwarven settlements scattered under Xorik, the largest and most prosperous is Strakelgar, which is deep within the Celestial Peaks. Another notable city is Ghalim under Bloodstone Mountains. No matter their home, dwarven society is usually divided into clans and most dwarves place clan loyalty above all else. With the end of the Great War, dwarves are suspicious the human kingdoms can maintain the peace. However, this suspicion has not stopped the dwarves from keeping a profitable trading relationship with the surface human cities. During the Great War, Strakelgar dwarves sold arms to the human kingdoms while now, dwarves supply humans with the raw materials they need to help rebuild their kingdoms. In regards to religion, many dwarves worship the original god that brought them to Xorik, Moradin. Despite the popularity of Moradin, the worship of other gods such as Bahamut, Erathis, and even Raz are not uncommon.
