Raz, God of Retribution

If Bahamut is justice, Raz is justice taken to the extreme. Once the angelic general of a goodly god, Raz’s patron was slain by the demon god Zaraku during the Origin Wars. The dying god gifted his divine essence to Raz as the angel vowed vengeance. In his pursuit of retribution, Raz slayed countless number of fiends and their diabolical masters. In a final climactic duel with Zaraku, the two new gods fought to a standstill before the Demon God blinded Raz’s left eye. To this day, Raz burns with an intense hatred of Zaraku and teaches his followers to hunt down any worshippers of the Demon God.
The Avenging Angel is a bitter god who is only followed by mortals seeking retribution. Raz’s clergy often serve their god as hunters of monsters and anyone that breaks the law. Although the Avenging Angel’s clergy often align with worshippers of Bahamut and Erathis, the blind pursuit of retribution can bring Raz’s followers into conflict with the Platinum Dragon’s more noble hearted clergy and the Law Maker's law abiding worshippers.
