The Dawn Knights

The Dawn Knights act as the elite, demon-slaying arm of the Followers of the Thalador. Cloistered away in their fortress high in the Anarak, the sight of a Dawn Knight away from their castle is a sign that something major is about to happen. Most famous in recent years for their holding the line against the reckless Orthonic attacks at the Battle of the Timber Bluff. They were also one of the five Imperial Knight Orders who marched on Lineria during the War of the Ordinators.

History

One of the few beacons of hope to arise during the Imperial Waithe, the Dawn Knights originate from the will of a single priest: Father Leon Jàsée. When his chapel was attacked by heretics, he set out on a roaring rampage of revenge; killing at least fifty of the attackers, he took the weapon of their leader to be his own. Dedicating the weapon to Geraan, his fervor gathered a dozen other men to him, each having lost something to evil. With the golden mace Lightbringer at his side he led his men to Alenor, where he personally rescued the Emperor and the High-Ordinator. For his service he and his men were officially recognized as an official arm of the church. Since then they have maintained their reputation as the single most terrifying force within the Followers, and one of the most renowned demon-slayers across the continent.
