Personal history
Evie Damaris was born in the year 325 800 SE in Pracht, capital of the Königreich von Begierdeland. In accordance with Elvish traditions, she was assigned the letter E („The Elemental“) at birth. Due to losing her mother to sudden illness and her father abandoning the family, she was forced to grow up at an orphanage in the district of Hochgarten from a young age, barely old enough to have any memories of them. Because of her difficult childhood and lack of relationshops, Evie was a lonely child and struggled with connecting to others, instead keeping to her books by herself. From doing so, it did not take long for her to discover an interest in magic and the arcane.
After a few years of living at the orphanage she was adopted by an old wizard named Xeros, hailing from Asiendal, who happened to discover her talent for magic and elemental elf heritage. He was a retired warmage who moved to Pracht after losing his family in a tragic accident. Trying to find forgiveness and start a new life, he chose to take Evie in and settle down in the disctrict of Lichtwald. While she did not know what to think of him initially, she eventually started to look up to him and see him as a father figure. For the next fifteen years, Evie dedicated herself to studying magic as his pupil. During this time, she felt happy and fulfilled, finally having a family and someone she cared for deeply.
It was shortly after her 20th birthday that Xeros passed away of old age. Distraught over her mentor’s death, she swore to honor his teachings and memory by becoming as skilled and knowledgeable of a wizard as possible. She remained in her homeland for much of her life, travelling the country and studying history, tomes and other lore. Until one day, her journey led her to the Kingdom of the Asiendal and an adventure much greater than anticipated...
