Iron Valley
Despite its name, the Iron Valley isn't really a valley. It isn't nestled between two mountains or plateaus, or other high formations. The iron Valley is more of a foothill region. There are mountains to the West, yes, but to the East is the vast Glittering Ocean., to the North is the Forrest of Gems, and to the South is the Unnamed Swamplands.
Much of the land of the Valley is covered by small farms and cottages. There are no vast fields or factories. Most people grow what they need plus a little bit to give to their neighors, but not much to export. The only other notable features of the Iron Valley are the town of Ashain, where the residents of the Valley gather to celebrate holidays, harvests, and friendships, and the Red Mill, where local grain is ground by the power of the Cobbled Stream.
The Iron Valley is a place where the work to bring in a harvest is valued over the yield. It is a place where the relationships are watered more than crops. It is a place where neighbors will fight over who gets to give you the shirt off of their back.
