The Swarm Queen Species in Aserere | World Anvil

The Swarm Queen

The locals assured me that the paste we are covered in will protect us from the swarms of deadly creatures that obey the Lord known as the Swarm Queen. However, with the sky full of her minions, some so close as I write this now that I can see the shimmer on their throbbing carapace, I feel an unease that fills me with dread. I think this might be the expedition that kills me. I observed the swarm from a far for 6 moons before this tribe captured me. I shared lore with their Loremaster who then eagerly suggested that we see a hive node...I think, I'd rather return to my cage.
