Prince
The Title of Prince may be given to a man. if that man has magic and has proven to be a great leader among the people. A prince is not voted in. It is inherited through their bloodline. A noble with potent magic blood line and have a family member that once led an army unit during the Risen war.
The title prince may not always be male. Prince does not mean a male rule of the Principality, just simply a title within the area of land.
Qualifications
The family name of royal birth. A noble who history served as a leader in army unit during the Risen War. They must have high amount of magic in their blood line.
Appointment
At the end the Risen War the main leader of the rebels had appointed her general's sections of land for them and their heirs to rule. As long as they swear to follow the new laws of the land. Which became the Vostorian constitution.
Duties
To manage the land, taxes, laws, magic guilds, town/city developments. To help make fare laws that help the people in the Principality happy and free.
Responsibilities
Looking good for the people, making sure the people understand their rights and freedoms. handling noble disputes and dealings.
Benefits
Receiving taxes from the people, joining in many noble parties, having fun as one can as nobel.
Grounds for Removal/Dismissal
If the Prince of the principality is male and the people want him gone and a revolt in the principality is about to happen, then the wife will take over. If she truly feels that the people are right, and the evidence shows he has brokens many laws. she will divorce him in a week time.
If the Prince is female and the people want her gone in the same fashion as above than the male may take over until they can see if there is any help for her. If she has become violent to her people and she has broken too many laws, she will be jailed, and he will rule until she has gotten the help. if after one month and she not gotten better or understood what she did wrong then he can divorcee and her sister or eligible female of proper age will be the wife of the prince.
