Magical Academy of Alt'Ena

General

The magical academy of Alt'Ena has been formed in the year 2309. Originally it was build outside the growing dwarven city. But with time the city engulfed the areas that belonged to the academy. As a reaction Archmage Maleh lifted the whole academy, the act that would give him his archmage title. The floating rock The floating rock - initally lifted by archmage Maleh - is the symbol of the Magcial Academy. Since there is no documentation how Maleh lifted the rock it has since been heavily researched how this act of magic was performed. Maleh later provided sparce documentation. However, since a failure of the floating spell would be catastrophic for the city, several security measure have been implemented and build around the city. The Academy itself is tasked with guarding these measures and regularly maintainng these. This has since then become one of the courses for the upper-class mages.

Tracts of the academy

The people living in the academia are divivded into several living tracts. Several of these have friendly rivalries, while other do not care whatsoever about the other tracts. Those that do harbor and keep these rivalries alive , are regularly performing sports or sports-like events to test their skills. Teachers and Professors are advocating these little fights since a healthy rivalry can easily make one go above ones own limits. The will to spite someone is a powerful motivation and since the days of Maleh this mantra has been deeply ingrained into many members of the Academia. 1st Tract - These living quarters are inside the floating rock, there are only few windows with most rooms having none at all. Most stuents try to avoid having these as their living quartes, while other students specifically chosse the isolated rooms. The currently most known students due to the particular habits and personality is Doku-Chan. She is completely oblivious to this fact.
