The young Drow man with the name of Elxidor was born into House Ariessus as a humble servant of the leading branch. Over the many years in service, he trained the family specialization of Alchemy related magic and excelled at it every step of the way. Through his hard work and determination, he gained wide renown among his fellow Drow and soon became one of the most famous alchemists in Faer Xuruth. In doing so he unknowingly started a power struggle within House Ariessus resulting in the death of quite a few members of the main branch. However, eventually, the fighting was stopped by the Whisperqueen and instead she insisted on an alchemical contest to show which branch would most likely benefit the community more.
Due to Elxidor's skill, the contest was easily won even though the current heir of the former main branch Lucille Ariessus did everything in her power to stop him. After the contest Elxidor was elected as the knew leader of House Ariessus and their representative in the Council of Names Talthalra d'Kaaseel.
