Suki Holbrooke
Suki Holbrooke (a.k.a. Jack-O)
A newcomer to Astra Nova as well as the world in general. Though she doesn't talk about it much willingly, she is from Mourne, the oppressed and isolated city owned by dark royals in the mountains. Having escaped a life worse than slavery, she lived in Ars with her mother, father, and terminally ill younger brother, surviving off of whatever little they could afford. She considers becoming a hero as the only path for her. Though air headed and laid back a lot of the time, she can become genuiley determined and assertive, though it takes great pains to do so. Coming from a poor household, Suki becomes easily excited or surprised over little things, even losing her composure when faced with actual luxury, to the point of nearly fainting. Some have noticed her as frugal and occasionally stingy, since she goes to extreme lengths to save money, including sleeping so she doesn't "waste oxygen" or skipping meals in order to save food.

Body Features
Suki is modestly built, closer to the slim side. She typically keeps her hair in two short ponytails. Like many of her kind, she has suffered physical mutations due to exposure from birth to dark energies. Her teeth are sharp and can pierce flesh with ease. She also suffers no ill effects from most diseases.
Apparel & Accessories
Being a Yotamo student, she wears a school uniform whilst on campus. She wears the Amity Set jacket with a black undershirt underneath, as well as a black skirt, black stockings, and dark grey shoes. She typically uses bands to tie up her hair and wears a large Yotamo lime colored bow in her hair. She commonly adorns herself with a long, draping light grey cloak her mother used to wear.
Outside of class, she tends to wear a slim variety of outfits, typically an old shirt and dress accompanied by the one hoodie sweatshirt she owns.

Personal history
Mourne is a place of oppression and despair. The cruel baron and his family lineage hold themselves above all others who are unfortunate enough to reside their. Dark magic is used and abused to reap the rewards of the land as well as keep the population under their control. Rights and freedom are but myths, and the eyes of the Baron are never far. Punishment is harsh and living conditions are harsher. Suki, only a small child at the time, escaped with her mother and father away from the city thanks to the efforts of a gnomish harvester group looking to free and escort a small clutch of people from Mourne. They made their way to Ars and did what they could, begging on the street and working menial jobs until eventually becoming able to rent out a living space for themselves. She worked tirelessly and tried to use what little talents she had in dark magic to get into Astra Nova, leaving her parents at home to attend the school.
