The Broken Staff Taproom is generously appointed with fine wines and ales from all over Arrhynsia procured at great expense by the proprietor of the Broken Staff himself. Inlet curated the cellars of the King and Queen of the dragonborn in the High Courts of the Chromatic Continent, and became a master mixologist studying under the legendary Thurston Greathrun for seventeen years. The expansive underground cellars at the Broken Staff Taproom, the best in the Dwarven Kingdom outside the royal cellars of the Stone Throne itself, keep our fine wines and ales in perfect condition. Come in and be served with style by the "World's Best Barkeep" and our attentive staff.

Our Top Rated Accommodations

All rooms in our residential areas of the Broken Staff are luxuriously appointed, and guaranteed to be insect free. Beds are provided for each occupant, and our fine all cotton linens are washed between each customer and weekly as a courtesy for customers with longer stays. Windows have openable glass glazed windows. Bedrooms can be secured with a padlock that will be provided at no additional cost, or you may bring your own. We apologize, but we are unable to accommodate more than four persons per room, and cannot provide cleaning services to secured rooms. A clean, raised wood floor bathhouse with door allows patrons to enjoy the luxury of private bathing, and fresh water is drawn and heated for each customer. Our bathhouse is equipped with one of the most modern and luxurious of innkeeping innovations, a shower, which delivers an unparalleled level of personal cleanliness.

Award Winning Cusine

The Broken Staff Inn kitchen is staffed and operated by the talented Mysros, who develops all our recipes herself, and serves fresh locally sourced farm-to-table organic vegetables, dairy and meats in all her offerings. All the baked goods served at the Broken Staff are prepared daily by our kitchen staff under our head chef's watchful eye, and baked locally in the Portsend community oven. The Broken Staff has expansive herb gardens, and procures the finest spices from distant locations like cinara from the Echovad Forrest, and pepper and chiles from truly exotic and unusual cultures such as the Latenes Sunt from the Shattered Isles. Our front room is overseen by the lovely and capable Patricia who trains her barmaids and waitstaff in the most elegant of manners, with prompt courteous and respectful service as their highest goal. The Broken Staff Taproom has been awarded three covented anvils by the Uftlon Inkeeper's Culinary Guild each year for the past twelve years running, and continues it's amazing record of highly satisfied patrons, watched over by a superior front house, incredible world class bar and a masterful chef.
