T'iamat Character in Arrhynsia | World Anvil

T'iamat

A God Divided

T'amat is the aspect of Saynleh affiliated with emotion, wisdom, chaos and life. The king and queen of the Chromatic Continent are inhabited by the aspects of Saynleh and pass from them to their successors when they die. The king and queen are not hereditary positions. Whomever is selected by the aspects becomes the king or queen. Being inhabited by the aspects does not overwhelm the personality of the host - rather the aspects of Saynleh enhance the natural proclivities of the selected hosts and inform their decisions.

The Character of a Queen

T'iamat prefers to inhabit smaller, quicker female dragons, but seems to have little preference for color. She tend to rule from a position of passion and emotion and favors allowing the land to run wild and natural. She leads in social interactions and tends to prefers to allow individual choice to rule rather than impose order from outside on the people. T'iamat is highly protective of her nest and the young of dragonkind. She is primary amongst her people in encouraging the transformation and growth of dragonkind into full blooded dragons.

Recent Events

The aspect of T'iamat is currently journeying. Her host dragon, the queen, was falsely accused of infidelity and killed by the current king. The communities of the Chromatic Continent were in disarray as followers of B'hamat  attacked and killed followers of T'iamat, and this chaos only relented as the members of Tiamat's court were killed or fled from the Chromatic Continent. The bloodshed did not relent until the false accusers of the queen were unveiled to be liars, upon which the people, if not the king, relented in their attempts to exterminate the queen's court. While it is likely that B'hamat her mate seeks her on his own journey, it is uncertain if Tiamat will accept the advances of B'hamat and if the throne can be restored, or if the re-emergence of T'iamat will result in bloodshed across the Chromatic Continent.   What is certain is that the pride of dragons will be the chief obstacle in reconciliation between these two.
