Dark Elf Clan
The major religious, social and economic structure in dark elf society. Clans are led by a Matriarch and inclusion in the clan and all lineage is determined solely on the maternal line. The senior female is selected on the basis of a number of factors including her recognition by the magic of the bloodline of her right to rule and control the magic of the Clan. All individuals in the Clan owe allegiance to the Matriarch and she in turn owes allegiance to the godess of the dark elves Ligeoa .
