Like pretty much all elves Silfahd is of slim, willowy build. He's had top surgery and thus has a scar running over his chest, and he's covered in tattoos.

He has an angular face with a narrow nose and high cheekbones.

His body is covered in tattoos of leaves, herbs, flowers and other plants. He also has a snake tatoed on his right forearm.

He can use enchantment magic, infused with a touch of transmutation magic.

Silfahd wears regular Redwoods clothes: A tunic made from fabric died in red, orange, brown and green tones and in winter a cloak made from fur. Silfahd likes being barefooted and only wears shoes in winter. He sometimes has an orange ribbon tied around his horns.

Silfahd carries enchanted paint with him, as well as a set of brushes and as a canvas he often uses animal skin, silk, wood or regular canvas, which is rare to come by in the Redwoods.

Personal history
Silfahd was born the older twin to Shakha, right at the beginning of the era of hope. Not only their birth year is special, but twins are also incredibly rare among elves, which has made Silfahd and his twin special from the get go. They grew up during a weird time, with the magic wars just being over and their memory still very much vivid in everybody's mind.
Silfahd was a dreamy child, often lost in his own little world and he always had a fascination with the beauty of rare moments and occurences. Wanting to show others his and Shakha's world of those small but perfect places or things or moment they always found on their journeys, promted Silfahd to become an artist, so he could show others the world through his eyes. Adults, he found at a young age already, were all too preoccupied worrying about things and thus couldn't appreciate the beauty of the small, simple things right in front of them and so he began to draw and later paint.
Very early in his life, Silfahd realised the mismatch of his body and gender and when Shakha asked him about it, confirmed xyr suspicion that he was actually a boy. Shakha, xemself agender, convinced him to tell their parents and do something to change their circumstances, which they did.
Much later, when Shakha had become a Duichadz, xe was the one to perform top surgery on Silfahd.
While Shakha was busy learning about the ancient blood runes, Silfahd found himself fascinated by magical tattoos, an art only very few could master. This came about after a stranger from Tilvin passed through the Redwoods Silfahd had seen the ink on his body dance and swirl. Determined to learn how to make his artwork dance like this he experimented around, even begging Shakha to teach him about blood runes, even though he despised them, to put some magic into his craft. Nothing he tried worked and Silfahd became increasingly frustrated and his body became covered in inked leaves and herbs and flowers, but none of them did anything.
Then, when Shakha and xyr master planned to go abroad to Tilvin, the place of origin of magical tattoos, Silfahd asked to go with them to find someone who could teach him. His parents were reluctant to let both their children leave at the same time, but eventually they were convinced.
In Tilvin Silfahd, after a long search, found a master he could learn from, and stayed with her for a few years. His apprenticeship was hard and his master always reminded him that only a gifted few were capable of the art of magical tattoos, but in the end Silfahd produced his first tattoo: A leaf dancing over his customer's body, warning him when someone who wished him ill came near him.
Soon after, Silfahd returned to the Redwoods, where he began working on a tattoo for him and Shakha so they could tell each other when to take down the mental barriers between them to speak telepathically with each other.
Nowadays Silfahd mainly works as an artist but he also makes the occasional magical tattoo here and there. Shakha always tells him that outside of the Redwoods he would be much more successful with his art and tattoos, but Silfahd likes the Redwoods just fine and doesn't want to deal with the stigma on the redwood elves all the time, thank you very much.
