Update Log
20250320
Sorry for taking a while to post and update. Between school, work, and life in general, I have been quite busy. We also ended up skipping a week of the campaign due to one of the players being sick, but that actually worked out as I needed a bit more time to get the next leg of their journey ready. I just published Land of the Lost: Session 10 Report, which is by far the longest one I've written so far. I'm very excited to see what choices the players make and what mysteries they uncover.
I know I said I would have the 3dX page made public quickly, but that got pushed to the back burner for a bit. I'm going to make an effort to make some progress on those so I can get that page up and continued developing the system.

As the players have brought the current segment of their journey to an end, I've been busy preparing the next leg of their adventure. I'm playing around with some new mechanics for 3dX and have got my 3d printer back up and running to printout at a map of the new region. I'm excited to see how my players choose to interact with these new elements.
On another note, I'm migrating all the articles for 3dX to their own world here on World Anvil. I'm keeping it private for now as I get everything sorted, but I'll announce when I make it public!

I finished the rework of the world map. While the global view is complete, there are lots of details that I still need to flush out, so I've utilized fog to hide the parts of the world there are no articles on. I will expand this as I flush out the world more, which will primarily be driven by the players in my campaign. However, if there is something that catches your interest, please let me know so I can prioritize exploring that new part of the world.

I just submitted my entries to the 5th Worldbuilding Awards. I'm excited to show what I've been working on and hope everyone that takes a look at them does too!
My next task is to finish the world map so I can put it on the world's main page so you can explore it as I flush it out more.

I have been a bit more preoccupied with school and work than I would have liked, but I'm putting the finishing touches on my submissions for the 5th Worldbuilding Awards. I don't think I'll submit all of them as they are not very flushed out, but we'll see if I can get them to a better spot before the deadline.
The Mantle of the Fallen World campaign has also kept me busy. The party is assaulting the hive that has claimed ownership of the new section of the Lost Labyrinth and is tampering with necromancy and other dark magics. It's been a tough fight so far, but the final fight will be a real challenge. Thankfully, they do have backup as twenty warriors of Sanctum and the Hermit have caught up to them, so it's going to be quite a battle!

I've been working on the submissions for the 5th Worldbuilding Awards to make sure they fully flushed out and looking their best. I also reworked my Excel Arokan Solar System simulator with some better functions and more detail. It revealed some interesting patterns and natural phenomena that I can use to add depth to the world and to my ongoing campaign. I feel like might need to convert it to a Python script to get full functionality out of it as I'm already pushing Excel to its limit and still have more I want to simulate. It should be a fun project, but I'll dive into that after submitting to the 5th Worldbuileding Awards.
Also, very excited to see the Endless Legend II trailer! I absolutely love the Endless Universe and am so excited to see what new things they have in store!

Completed the Land of the Lost: Session 7 Report. I'm excited for Session 8 on February 2nd as it is going to be quite a battle for the party.
I've also been working on my entries for 5th Worldbuilding Awards. I've completed work on five of them and am working on a fourth. If I have time, I'll work on a map to submit as well. Feel free to check them out and let me know what you think!

Finished my submission for the 2025 New Year's Resolution: To A Brighter Future. It was really cool to look at some of the work of other creators and see their unique drives, perspectives, and worlds. I look forward to being much more active this year and getting to see all the incredible and inspiring works created by this community!

Wrapped up submissions for WorldEmber 2024 and worked on updating some older articles. I'm looking forward to being a lot more active on this page in 2025!

I have been focusing on participating in WolrdEmber 2024, flushing out elements releated to the ongoing Land of the Lost campaign as well as the 3dX Ruleset.
20241221
I have made significant progress on the 3dX Ruleset and have made all current articles public. They call al be access through the 3dX Index article, which contains links to all the 3dX articles. I am still working on flushing them out and there are some areas that still need filling in, but feel free to look through them and let me know if you have any questions. My goal is create a system that is easy to learn and interpret while playing but is also flexible enough to facilitate boundless creativity.

The session reports for sessions 0 through 4 of The Land of the Lost campaign have been published. They are intentionally a bit sparse on details and explanation so as to not be too long. I'm working on writing the articles that will go more in depth on major story and worldbuilding elements they encounter. If there are any items you're particularly interested in, left me know and I'll prioritize those ones.

I put together this document as an easy way to update everyone on my progress. There's been a lot going on in my life between getting an exciting new job, going back to school for an MBA, and buying a home that needed (and still needs) a bit of renovation. My goal is to post at least one new article a week, though I'm hoping that I'm able to do more than that as I take a more active role in this page.
There are a few things I have in the works.
- I've run around a dozen sessions using my custom 3dX TTRPG set on Aroka. I've posted session reports for some but not all of the sessions and am working to close that gap. My group plays once every two weeks (barring scheduling conflicts), so you can expect session reports at that same cadence moving forward. I also hope to write additional articles explaining more of what the party encounters on their adventure.
- These campaigns have also allowed me to play-test the 3dX system. A lot of progress has been made but I there are lot of rules I've been testing but haven't written down. The next session isn't scheduled until after the holidays, so I have some time to codify some of the newer rules and publish the newest version of the Character Sheet.
- I've also been working on updating the world map. This has been a work in progress for a while and I feel like it would be better to share portions of the map as they are completed instead of waiting for the whole map to be finished. Hopefully I'll have something to show for that soon!
Thank you to everyone that checks in on this page. I'm hoping me being more involved with it gives you a reason to keep coming back. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. There is a lot of this world I haven't gotten around to writing down and a lot of details that need to be filled in, so if there's anything you want to know more about, I'd be happy to flush out the those details and help bring this world to life.
