The Xola Coronation Ceremony

If and when the Elders decide a person shall be given the title of Head of Xola an extravagant coronation ceremony is held for the crowning of the new Head.

Execution

Pre-Ceremony

Before the ceremony even starts the New head must get dressed and ready in the appropriate attire. The attire includes getting the New Head dressed the proper white under robes and putting their hair into a top knot so that the Guan Crown can be worn.

Ceremony

The ceremony begins with five elders standing at five points of the pavilion at the auditorium, then the new Head of Xola standing before two elders as they adorn the new Head with ceremonial robes woven by the elders with threads of the Realmaic barriers, the rays of the sun given by Cyra, and the rays of the moon given by Lusine. Following the robing, the Head will turn to a third elder standing behind them and kneel before the elder as the elder place the Guan Crown of the Head of Xola on their top knot. The final part of the ceremony begins with the new Head standing up and turning towards the crowd, the old Head of Xola will then give the new Head the key to the Head of Xola's Office as a symbol of the title being passed from old to new. The Ceremony ends with the new and old Heads bowing to each other before the old Head walks to stand behind the new Head, with the three elders forming 3 sections; the five elders in the back, the 3 elders, and the old Head in the middle and the new Head in the front. The new Head will then stand before the crowd as they congratulate them on the ascension.

The ceremonial robes are taken off after the ceremony and placed in a special hidden and warded area of the Head of Xola's office until it is needed at the next ceremony.

The ceremonial key doesn't actually do anything other than represent the symbol of the position and the giving of the title from old to new.

Participants

Central Role

The New Head of Xola goes through the entire ceremony as the Main Character, they are adorned in ceremonial robes, crowned with the Guan Crown, given the key to the office of the Head of Xola, and go through a bowing between the New and Old Head of Xola.

Assistant Roles

The Council of Elders plays an important role in the ceremony. Five of the Elders stand in the back in a half circle, two of the five are the two Elders representing the Realm the Headmaster originates from. Those two elders stand on each end of the ring of five Elders.
Three more Elders play an active role with two adorning the New Head of Xola with the Ceremonial robes and the third crowning the New Head with the Guan Crown.
The Old Head of Xola also participates in the ceremonial giving of the key to the Head of Xola's office and the ceremonial bowing to each other.
