House Romalla is one of the great houses of the Oreion Inquisition that rules over the north-eastern section of Oreion that contains the Talon Peaks and Northern Reach regions.
Besides House Mengsk, House Darkcorht is the noble house that is both the most respected and feared both inside and outside the Inquisition. The political manuvering and negotiating tactics of its members rival that of House Mengsk and House Pyke, and it is widely believed that the higher ups of the house have close ties to The Velantian Crows. Additionally, House Darkcorht is responsible for the upbringing and training of the large Rocs used by members of The Veiled Hand.
House Darkcorht is also the noble house that has held the position of Grand Inquisitor the longest apart from House Mengsk, thus creating a fierce rivalry between the two political powerhouses. The house's current leader, Overseer Lady Darkcorht, is known to be a somewhat eccentric and strange woman; though her skill as a leader rivals that of Pontius Mengsk himself.
The symbol of House Romalla is a white concord against a purple olive wreath. The animal is meant to represent the intelligent nature of the house, while the olive wreath commonly symbolizes glory, power, and eternity in Oreion history.
