Antara

Named after the venerated Saint Antara, the fortress village that shares her name is the location where the Saint is said to have been born. Situated on the Silver Road next to a highly defensible ravine, Antara was a small village before The Veiled Hand built a large stone fortress into the mountain around it. The current purpose of Antara is to act as a buffer against any northern threat against the capital of Victorum. The tower residing in the center of the fortress is said to have been built by Antara herself during her crusade against the Voidborn. It was meant to act as both a means to keep vigil over the surrouding area, and a warning to those who set their sights upon Victorum. The town has also been used as the headquarters for the Southern Army during the Oreion Civil War, serving as the last line of defense for those wishing to protect the capital.
