Lord or Lady Bright

Appointment

Each of the official residential wards (Silverwine, North, Copper, Silk, Raven, Ivy, and Shade) elect 2 councillors to represent them. These councillors then select a Lord or Lady Bright to rule the city.

Duties

The Lord or Lady Bright is charged with the leadership of Brightridge, the capital and largest city of Brightridge. Most other Forian cities have their own independent leadership who will convene when national concerns arise, but it is common for the Lord or Lady Bright to lead the nation in these matters as well. This makes the Lord or Lady Bright an unofficial ruler of @Foria itself.
