Shade Ward
The Shade Ward is not the Shadow Ward and locals will quickly correct this or think anyone that says it a fool. This ward has the most diverse population of all the others.
People who come from afar often settle into life here. It’s easy to find delicious halfling meals or strong dwarven ale and stonework. The ward's residents are mostly labourers and travellers.
A regular event called the Moonlight Merriment takes place in the streets on nights with a clear full moon. While in the moonlight people can become weightless with just a thought and float a few feet into the air. Kids often play “floating tag” and some people have used this to develop their own style of dance. It’s thought to be caused by some latent magic from a very, very long time ago.
