Festerwood Forest

Striddling the boarders between the Necros Nation and the Drow Republic a recent powerful earthquake shook the foundations of the earth and broke down a section of cavern wall. While most thought this would domino over into a cataclysmic destruction of the Underdark it surprisingly did not. The fallen cavern wall exposed a preciously unknown biome that was sealed off and self sustaining. The Necros Nation, the Drow Republic, The Emerald Enclave, The Emerald Guard, representatives from the Druidic Island Nation of Malumalu as well as several governments and organizations from the surface are all rushing to lay claim as possession makes it difficult for words on papers to deny it's a race to claim. However, one wonders is it also a race to death? Many teams have not returned or have been heard from. There is a sense of unease now. Is there any brave enough to take the risk of venturing here?
