Chernog
God of Death, Decay but also unchecked violence and husband of the Morig Hen. Their Children are the godwolves Fenrir and Warga, who are also stuck in the Counterrealm .
Ruler of the "Realm in between" (Counterrealm) , where all human souls end who cannot make their way to the Hall of Gods, and who are always on the run from Chernog and his children.
Banned from the Halls of the Gods, he dwells there as a punishment for trying to take over the power over the other Gods.
His task is to hunt and destroy all those souls, whose presence would weaken the defense against the Worldsnake (plaguebeasts, demons, corrupted human souls).
Plaguebeasts who escape to Ardu are said to have escaped Chernogs Eyes.
