Tuumthal

An ancient Siiari baptismal ritual, wherein a parent or religious leader presses a small amount of water, oil, ink, or even paint onto their thumb and then press the thumb to the forehead of a newborn baby. This ritual is said to make the baby strong and grant it the blessings of the Deinain   Tuumthal is thought to have originated with the old Peinti custom, meaning simply painting. Ancient Siiari supposedly painted themselves in blue dyes, which were said to grant them magical power in battle.
