Shesha

Oft called the "Land of Peace," Shesha was supposedly once home of the Sheshai, an ancient race that the Viisianari conquered not through arms nor magic, but through marriage. Legends vary on details, some saying the conquering empress took the king of the Sheshai as a second husband, thus beginning the ancient tradition of royal polygamy. Others say a princess wed the king, others a mere virtuoso, and some suggest the empress' first son was wed to a Sheshai virtuoso who had mastered a mysterious magic not clearly described. Regardless, the Sheshai were known as the people won by love.
Waxing and waning in importance over the centuries, Shesha is a fairly modest town today, benefitting greatly from the fertility granted by the River Shauron and the nearby Haushora Fork (sometimes called the River Clypo).
