Prince Padraigh Wulk
Son of King Otgam Wulk and Queen Gretan Faolan.
Padraigh was the firstborn son of King Otgam's third and favorite wife, Queen Gretan. Such ought to have been a position of great privilege, the Otgam died when Padraigh was only four, and his heir Ollaugh the Werewolf hated Gretan and all her children fiercely.
Padraigh was not a skilled fighter, and as such would have his manhood mocked and belittled often, both by the new King and by those who sought his favor (or merely wished to avoid his wrath). When Padraigh's younger brother Ghilart was beaten to death by Ollaugh in a drunken brawl, the king reportedly summoned Padraigh to his chambers and told the boy what had happened, then laughed when he slunk away tearfully.
This abuse would reach its apex when Padraigh was four-and-twenty, and the King summoned him once again. Seemingly for no reason, Ollaugh accused Padraigh of bedding his wife, Queen Heather Capall. The Prince of course denied the accusation, but Ollaugh would hear nothing of it. He had the young man gelded and beaten, and henceforth kept him as a servant and cupbearer despite his age and station.
Like many others, Padraigh died during the sack of Dubraigh at the end of Garland's Conquest.
