Horses
A livestock animal found all throughout Kynaj: Imperia, the Esterlands, and the Four Great Satari Kingdoms.
Believed to have originated in Khabar, horses spread throughout the continent via their use as war mounts. The Khabarese, even in their more warlike days as Irsad, were always relatively isolationist, leaving many to speculate that it was actually Zalja that spread horses through the continent, which would suggest some poorly-recorded conflicts between Zalja and the fallen Orckid states, or possibly with Monos to the east. Some legends of the Mornal Conquest make mention of horses, leading many to suggest they originated across the sea in Mornalith, but these legends also speak of knights, lords, and other distinctions that did not exist in ancient Mornal (or Viisianar) culture.
