Fiion Beth

Called the Blazing Boar

Lord Fiion Beth

Lord of Revelback during the First and Second Brothers Rebellion.   Lord Fiion was called "the Blazing Boar" because he fought with a flaming maul, as the legendary Baarach of Beth was said to have done.   Fiion's father Furion died when Fiion was only seven, but the boy took an active role in his lordship from the first day. He led armies during the First Brothers Rebellion at sixteen, and was vital enough to lead armies again during the Second Brothers Rebellion.   Though a respected leader, Lord Fiion was admonished for his great appetites both at table and at bed. He would wed three wives over the course of his life, endangering the succession of the lordship when his two warrior sons from his first marriage died in battle, leaving his third son Danraigh as heir apparent. Fiion's two sons from his second marriage, Walter and Lothar, were as warlike as his first two, and Fiion himself would ofttimes undermind his heir's position by mocking his weakness.
