General Summary
In Shamusport (3 Highwinter, 1812):
- Dubak](person:b16277f7-bd20-40b4-b86b-579689b68524) and Haldrick Ironfist spent time fishing and in a tavern.
- Asira Galeseed and Mariana Kolga investigated the presence of something in the Tsukiyo woods that has dried up the water and is killing vegetation and driving away creatures. Through a visit with Donovan, the elf who runs the local militia, and Hannah, the Tiefling who heads up the Temple of Dezna, it is determined that the creature is a Will-o'-Wisp.
- After a coincidental meeting outside the Temple of Dezna where Asira and Mariana were invited to stay the night by Hannah, shared information about the issue and about a thug named Davic Kang who is trying to take over crime in the Bilge, the group, along with Linus, who travelled to Shamusport with Asira and Mariana after helping to solve the murder of a Mayor in a small village, decide to help rid some of the trouble from this small port town.
- Since it's getting dark and the Will-o'-Wisp should probably not be taken on at night, the group decides to track down Davic.
- After a failed attempt by Dubak to bribe information out of a barback in the bilge, Haldrick manages to find out just barely information about the crime-lord, namely that his influence is pervasive arouns the build. Dubak intentionally draws the attention of two low-level thugs that work for Davic and knocks them down in an attempt to get information from them about where to locate Davic.
- Meanwhile Asira and Mariana go talk to a random woman on the street who clearly is not interested in seeing Davic take any greater of a hold on the Bilge. They get general directions from her on how to get to the worst part of the Bilge, the area good-folk avoid, where Davic has set-up "office."
- The party is just about to set off for this neighborhood.
