Personal history
Imani was born in Biladbar to a small low wage family of mainly farmers. One day, she was chosen at a very young age to be trained by the local Bilad Ecclesial church as a scribe where she learned how to write in both everyday and liturgical script. At the same time she was also taught many religious hymns and sang as the youngest cantor in the church at the time. In her adolescence, she began her training in folk medicine, lay rites, and clerical magic becoming a debetra.
Having been a traveling healer for a while, she met the warrior Nawi at the Biladbar branch of the Overland Expeditions, an international adventure tourism venture. The two hit it off and the experience instilled in her a sense of wanderlust that inspired her to join the organization as an adventurer.

Imani is a debtera, a Bilad Eccelesic lay priest in training until officially ordained. She travels around using her clerical knowledge on people by recounting Eccelesic music, healing with first aid, medicine, or magic and performing exorcisms of minor spirits.
She is currently employed by Overland Expeditions as a cleric to assist new clients who want to go on adventurer tours.
