Kingdom of Edgemere

This Kingdom consists of the Town of Edgemere and the surrounding Valley of Edgemere including the Dismal Mere. The Kingdom has prospered since its founding, and is now a flourishing community with agriculture in the valley, and mining in the surrounding hills leading to a thriving craft center in Edgemere proper. The King rules aided by his Council of Elders. This is composed of the heads of the leading families of the Kingdom, and while the King is not subject to their rulings traditionally he has relied on their approval of at least major actions. The Kingdom is not given to war, though it has defended its Valley strenuously when the need has arisen.
