Throne of Aeon

" Beyond the Meta-Rim, there is a place beyond Time and Cosmos, existing hidden at the intersecting nexus of All-Life. Beyond the veil of the physical and the spiritual, the Throne of Aeon is the hall where Oah rests and watches, listening to the World-Songs. His vigil is eternal as he resides over the Original's Prime Creations."
— an excerpt from the Origo Magnum Opus on the Lord of the Cosmos, Oah

The Throne of Aeon is a place that exists in an immaterial dimension, removed from the mortal and spiritual realms, existing in a place where only the most esoteric mathematical formulas could calculate trajectory. Few have ventured into the halls of the Throne of Aeon; only the most ancient Deities know how to access Oah's private dimension.

It appears as a raised platform floating in ethereal, white-washed space. The material of the stones is thought to be the hardest, densest material known to man or Gods. It forms vast columns that touch the empty globe above, which flickers with the dark constellations of abnormal stars periodically, forming jagged lines like starburst lightning at random moments. Red tapestries and floating censures of flame decorate the floor and steps of the platform, raised only by a few feet at each level.

The whole structure is as flat as plateaus stacked only a few feet above each other, seem to stretch on endlessly into the white Aether. In the direct center of the dimension is the Meta-Rim, a large threshold that resembles a large radial pool of condensed, nebulous liquid space. Stardust and cosmic patterns churn in it's roil as ripples of vibrations constantly create a low sonorous sound, like solar wind gently flowing through empty space.

A red carpet extends from the mouth of the pool and directly to the Throne of Aeon, an immense ceremonial chair, inscribed with ancient runes from the times of the Original Creation. It is believed that the runes detail the conditions of Oah's divinity. He is bound by the old Tenets to remain within the Meta-Rim; unless there is a contingent reason why Oah must leave. This is also said to be described within the columns and rows of the runic heiroglyphics. The language used is also believed to be a script of Original Text though Oah has never permitted Diviners of his faith to divine the runes, the language lost to time and meaning.

Oah exists alone, listening to the World-Songs, silently contemplating existence and eternity, Time and Space.

Geography

This dimension is said to stretch towards the bounds of infinity- though space can be seen in glimpses and cracks that casually appear and vanish through the stark white platforms, near the center is where the Throne of Aeon lies. Draped in red fabric, this Throne stands as the highest structure on the platform. Behind the Throne of Aeon, is the Red-Veil Vault.

The red fabric that is used for the carpets and decor of the platform are enhanced by the sight of a large, thick red veil. Only few have been permitted behind the Red-Veil; no one knows what Oah watches beyond. Theorists suggest that it could be an alternate dimension or the place of the Origin of Source, but according to the Mythos, it could be the location of the Universal Codices and the Origo Magnum Opus. At the least, it is commonly believed that Oah stores treasures and memories inside, taken from the Meta-Rim via his ladle or other implements.

The space above seems to have a dome like structure that is stark white as well, though dark arcs of solarized light can be seen to peer through periodically. There are 10 steps to meet the Throne of Aeon, each one ascending the elevation of the floor only slightly. The whole structure, appeared from afar, seems locked in isometric place, though it has no confining boundaries.

Above all, at the end of the platform, farthest from the Throne of Aeon, is a pool of viscous Aether, known as the Meta-Rim. This is the threshold by which Oah enters the mortal realms, if he chooses. Doing so has dire consequences for the Cosmos.

Localized Phenomena

The Throne of Aeon is suspended outside the normal flow of time; as a spiritual dimension, it is in a "Timeless" state and thus, only impressions from the mortal realms can be felt at any given "time". Transfixed by objectional gravity, Oah can modify the appearance of his realm as he sees fit, using the white walls to include images or create artificial semblances of Life seen outside of the Meta-Rim.

Stories are told of Oah, that on rare occasions (when he is at his most loneliest) he may call for a companion to visit with him for 1 whole day, an equivalency of "Time" that Oah deems appropriate. He will play with them and entertain them at the Throne of Aeon, as long as they bid the conditions he sets forth, which ordinarilly safeguards the Life of the companion. Traveling through the Meta-Rim or beyond the Red-Veil Vault without Oah is thought to be dangerous.

Occasionally, on certain "astral holidays", when the veils between dimensions are at their thinnest, Deities are said to eternally bestow Oah with practical gifts and tokens. Though he can't hold them in his realm, the act of sharing is a message of Divine Love which resonates with Oah's heart. When he releases beings from his realm, they leave with his blessings and divine inspiration.

It is thought that Oah can transport the Throne of Aeon to any point in Time, but this has never been proven and is more the conjecture of myth. Debates from those who quote the laws regarding time argue that even Oah doesn't have the ability to change what the Original has set in motion.

History

Though little is known about the Throne of Aeon, both the Throne and the Meta-Rim are believed to have been built by the Original, in conjunction with all the other Prime Creations (of Time, Space, etc). It is a testment to Oah's ascension as the Original Construct and includes the binding Laws that confine him to the Meta-Rim and the Throne of Aeon.
