Andrea Moonheart

To be the first thread is a great honor and it's one the Moonheart Family have held for centuries. As the Weavers guild is one of the oldest in the city even predating The Order of the Fallen Leaves their power is considerable and Andrea wields it like a pair shears cutting out rivals and potential threats to the company. Her duties as First Thread entail making sure that all the current deals for the thread that her guild offers are maintained and updated as inflation and costs changes. Along with this she must ensure that the The Great Weave is always being added to and that no event no matter how small is neglected from the enormous tapestry a duty she takes very seriously. Andrea herself is an accomplished weaver and clothier, her dresses and suits are some of the finest works in the city with long waiting lists for their time.

Appearance

Andrea is a beautiful middle aged human looking woman, many though say she is Air Touched as her hair and clothes seem to float along with her though with her skill it's also equally likely that she's had some enchantment placed on the fabric.

Personality

Andrea can seem quite aloof to visitors and possible business partners, some have said she lacks emotions or at least the ability to display them. Those that know her better realise she has a deep understanding of people she has just decided most of them are trash and not worth her time. For those that prove themselves though or have something genuine to offer Andrea can be quite charming and even caring in a way that is difficult to describe. She knows shes right about the things that are pertinent to her business and will not tolerate someone saying otherwise.

Background

Andrea comes from the Moonheart family and when she came of age she took over the Hand Weavers and Spinners Guild as was her birthright. She immediately went to task renegotiating every contract in the city making her quite a few enemies though a small collection of carefully selected allies at the same time. During these negotiations she was responsible for reviewing every dressmaker, clothier, tailor and factory using the thread. In so doing noted improvements in design and thread stitching that she soon began using the knowledge in her own designs and eventually offering those skills and education to any who would want them for a price

Rumors

There are some rumors to suggest part of the reason that Andrea was promoted so quickly is because she has an innate ability to see into the future using the Great Weave. Furthermore it's something that has been passed down in the Moonheart family for generations and this has allowed them to navigate the treacherous waters of political power that rule Arbor.

Andrea is an extremely private person if she does have any relationship they are kept extraordinary quiet.

Allegiance

Andrea herself owes allegiance to no one though business deals with Factory Bosses and other smaller tailors, dressmakers and so on may make it seem otherwise cross her and you can find out how little thread makes it your way.
