Personal history
Garen Grant is part of the Grant family. Lorian Grant, an ancestor of the Grant family, was present at the Death of Delivan and helped fight against the demons. After Lorian Grant was imprisoned by the demon, the family would never forget that Lorian might still be alive somewhere. 100 Years after the imprisonment of Lorian Grant. One of the sons, Groll Grant, left with a family heirloom. Groll took one of the first produced steam-pistols and set off on a journey. Garen Grant was given a mechanical raven by a dear friend after a very dangerous situation where both barely made it out. The raven would, after a while, allow Garen to cast magic even though Garen was not capable of that before. Garen would have frequent conversations with the raven but never with words.
Garen soon followed after his brother, eager to find out more about the new powers he posesses and to find out why Groll left as he did.
Failures & Embarrassments
Garen Grant was a bastard son of the Grant family. He was mostly dismissed and hidden from the public eye. This meant that Garen, eager for some attention and excitement, started dabbling in the less than normal societies. Slowly he was accepted into a group that studied less accepted knowledge, which some would call a cult. This was the cult of Iron and Blood, they believed that through suffering one would gain an understanding the truth of the universe (though suffering progress). The cult was established in 105 P.D.. The head of the cult, the Magos died and i never stuck around to find out if they disbanded or assigned a new Magos. However, during my time in the cult Garen met someone special. Ellianore Tribble and Garen met many times during meetings and basically all the time when they had free time. They would share heartfelt moments and Ellianore would teach Garen most of what he knew about the cult. After a ritual went wrong, Garen realised the extremeties of the cult. In the chaos that ensued Garen took the oppertunity to sneak out and never return to the cult. Before Garen got out, Ellianore noticed what he was doing. Heartbroken she now looks to inflict the same pain unto Garen next time they would meet.
