City of Bucklehollow
Bucklehollow is a small town located deep within the Bucklewood forest, renowned for its high-quality timber. The town is surrounded by dense forests of towering trees, with the sound of sawmills and steam-powered machinery ringing through the air. The town is only a day's travel away from the bustling metropolis of Steelgate.
To ensure the safety of its citizens, Bucklehollow is heavily guarded by both a detachment of the Steelgate Army and a squad of elite soldiers from the Steelguard. Despite their presence, the recent discovery of smuggled drugs within the town has left the locals feeling uneasy and on edge.
The mayor of Bucklehollow, Becket Mills, is a descendant of the great General Lemuel Humphrey Mills, whose exploits are still celebrated in song and legend. Becket's father was banished to the Fortress City of Steamworth, leaving Becket to fend for himself on the streets. However, through sheer grit and determination, he managed to rise from poverty and establish himself as a respected member of the community.
Surrounded by a towering stone wall and situated beside a winding river, Bucklehollow is a picturesque town with red-tiled roofs that represent the colours of Steelgate. At its heart lies an inn run by an eccentric host, whose unique brand of hospitality has made it a mostly avoided landmark in town.
