Townsend Family Mausoleum
Almost twenty miles from the town of Havn on the coast of Trilmo, the Townsend Mausoleum has served as the burial place for the Townsend family for generations. It holds sarcophagi of the founders of the family, Ulrik and Nienna Townsend, in the main mausoleum. Their youngest daughter, Minna, and Nienna's mother, Gudrun, also have graves in the mausoleum. The other members of the family, along with their close servants and retainers, have graves in the field around the structure.
Architecture
The chapel in which the four sarcophagi are housed is a small structure, with colored lead-glass windows depicting the family's rise to wealth and status. The mausoleum is made of marble, with carved accents of compasses and ships on the frieze above the entrance.
Though the family has fallen on hard times of late, they try to upkeep the cemetery to the best of their abilities. Despite this, the mausoleum is beginning to show signs of wear. Ivy hugs the columns and the colors in the windows are obscured by grime. A few of the headstones outside have started to lean and some of the names are no longer legible.
