The Changed

The Changed are a group of people, at first they were only Atlanteans but others have joined as well. The Biomancers are the scientists that ones that created the process that They believe in advancing themselves through the advancement of gene-splicing with science. Effectively, creating many new subspecies.
The Biomancer commonly ask for volunteers to get biosamples, set baselines, and test subjects. Often, they only test for one or two characteristics or add them to their subjects. Oddly, some of them became addicted to the chemical they were injected with to make them more open to the change.
Common changes have to do with hyping physical or mental attributes, armor, natural weapons, looks, and different movement types. Some like to look like other races, animals, or monsters. To them, the change is like advancement toward godhood. Although, some consider them to be mutations, to them it is a gift.
When the Slave Rebellion happened they joined the side of the slaves. Many of the Biomancers joined in with them, and many shock troopers were created in the process.
